It's one thing to not care for a game because it isn't fun (however it
probably wouldn't be very fun for a non sim-racer to enjoy such an outright
simulation anyway), but to say that not much has changed in F1-2001 since
F1-2000, shows a total lack of knowledge of the genre.

I purchased the game about 4 weeks ago and found this to be an interesting
review. I found this comment quite disturbing though:
"The game also doesn't like GeForce cards. We encountered a number of play
halting problems that seemed to occur at random. Sometimes a race would
start well, other times it would glitch to a halt. Radeon cards had no such
problems however. "
I'm currently playing F1 2001 with low video settings using my factory 4 Meg
card that came with my Intel motherboard. I'm now in the market for a
GeForce card. After some research, I'm trying to decide between the 64 MB
GeForce2 GTS and the 64 MB GeForce2 MX-400.
Can any current GeForce card owners corroborate IGNs claim about GeForce
instability in the game? What card do you guys recommend for someone
willing to spend $150 max? All comments are welcome.

The Ti 200 looks like a good deal if you can make the stretch, The core is
much better than GF2 cards = better visuals, and a lot more power. Having
said that an ATI Radeon 8500 is about the same price ($199.00), anyone
running the game with this card ???
