Except for following the facts:
- Any fence is stronger than your car
- Any bump to the side will put you upside-down
- Slow acceleration of 2wd's (it takes a Golf IV kitcar 7 sec to reach 100
km/h. In real life it's around 5 sec)
Anyway, it is by far the best sim yet.
And yes, you should use the Force RS with RS Shifter...

CMR is not a simulator...yes the feeling of driving CMRs cars i very good,
but other than that it aint very realistic. RC has much things that makes it
realistic, even tough the feeling of the cars isn't so god...

The reason the fences don't break is because they had to have resource
limitations.
It would of been nice if the fences at the gates would break, but you
shouldn't be hitting them anyway. :-)

MrTC
When it reaches 100% the screen blacks out and then the PC
just hangs. Any ideas on how to install it?

It had to do with the fact that I was trying to install the full
version without first removing the demo copy of it.
Basically I had to remove all references to the program in my
registry, reboot, and then install it.
Now it works great.

You think it is better than Colin McRae Rally?

RC2000 is (probably?) the more realistic simulator. For example the stages
are geniune rally stages and can take ages to complete. The car seems
particularly difficult to handle at times - I'm almost convinced its treating
my steering wheel as a digital device - I assume it simply has a more
realistic model that highlights my "ham fisted" approach. You can certaintly
chuck the car about a bit more in CMR (even the front wheel drive ones).
I cannot help feeling that CMR is a bit more fun though,
and the quality of the interface on CMR is much better. For example, setting
up a steering wheel in RC 2000 is a bit hit and miss, and the game does
have long "loading" screens every time you touch a button.
(Having just given up on "hidden and dangerous" due to the sheer number
of bugs, I realise just what high quality products CMR and RC 2000 are).

Some of the items are (off the top of my head),
- Sticky/Less sticky grass
- Heavier cars (the cars seem very light in RC2000)
The steering sensitivity has to be turned way down, otherwise, your car goes
all over the place.
I prefer colin mcrae, as it is more fun.
RC2000 seems more realistic?
Some of the RC2000 tracks are way too long and too narrow...
There's colin mcrae 2.0, coming out in apr/may as well.
looking good ;)
