time scaled shrinks a 52 lap race(or whatever the lap count) down by the
same percentage you have chosen for a shortened race. So if you have a 10%
race distance, you get probably about 5 laps. Now the sim calculates what
'might' have happened by lap 45 and sticks that in lap 4 or 5. The trouble
is it seems to be pretty agressive squeezing stuff in. Brakes are big
failure items with time scaled.
The 2002 season setting is based on the F1 season of 2002. If you are
driving a GTR car that corresponds with Ruebens Ferrari, you will have many
failures early in the year. Good luck.
