ICR2 with USB Wheel?

by Brian M » Sun, 27 May 2001 08:51:43

Hi!
I know this has been addressed before but I can't seem to find the
thread.  I reloaded ICR2 with Indy to run this weekend and it all works fine
but the sim doesn't recognize my T-master Nascar Pro Digital wheel.  I
remember something about a patch or MS DOS fix.  Can somone "steer" me in
the right direction? (Sorry, lame joke!)  I suppose I could dig out my old
T2 wheel but would like to run some laps at Indianapolis!  Thanks in advance
for any responses and a great race weekend to all!

To use a USB device you must be running a windows based sim.  ICR2 is a
dos product.  There is a win95 patch but you can also find re-issues of ICR2
called CART RAcing,...it has the windows version on it.  Good luck..You may
want to check out the Nascar Heat or F1cs Cart patches instead.

ICR2 with USB Wheel?

There is a set of 3 papy products for sale in EB in the UK, "gripped" - i.e.
SODA, Nascar 2 and Indy 2.  I nearly bought it on saturday.  It did say you
need Win 95, so perhaps it will be the second version of ICR2

All the best
