F1RS and RAM

Welll I just pieced together a new system and here are some relevant pieces:

128 6ns DIMMS (2x64)
333 PII
BX motherboard (I run the chip at a 100Mhz bus)
G100 AGP Matrox
36x CDROM
11.5 gig UDMA HD

My previous system was a200 MMX with 64meg and the menus were slow!!!  now
the menus fly by ( I havent yet waited more that a second for each one to
pass.  F1RS is now a complete dream (It was my favorite racing game, now its
my favorite game)

Was it the RAM? the CPU?  O dont know, my guess is the CPU as I belive the
graphics used for the menus are compressed (otherwise they would be HUGE
disk hogs) and probably are using a compression alogorithm that is heavy FPU
dependant, this explains the increase better than the RAM (very few programs
are written to take advantage of extra ram especially massmarket games)

so for a speed kick give it a shot.
