I have a Pentium 200mhz Diamond stealth voodoo 1 combo now.  I am
looking to get either a Voodoo 2 3d card 12 meg or go to a STB TNT
4400.  Will all my sims run with either cards or do some just use the
Voodoo chipset for there 3d?

thnks

Depends on the game..here's a sampling:

GAME                       3Dfx  Rendition   D3D    Riva    None/2D
CART Precision Racing       Y*       Y        Y       Z        X
F1 RS/Monaco GPRS           Y*       Y        Y       Z        X
Grand Prix Legends          Y*       Y*       N       N        X
Indycar 2/CART Racing       N        Y*       N       N        Y
MotoCross Madness           Y*       Y*       Y       Z        N
Monster Truck Madness 2     Y*       Y*       Y       Z        X
Nascar 2                    Y*       Y*       N       N        Y
SODA                        N        Y*       N       N        X
TOCA                        Y        Y        Y       Y        X

Y means it works...N means it doesn't...X means don't bother.
An Asterisk (*) means it's directly supported...Z means it will work but
I don't have one so I don't know if it's directly supported, but it's
D3D so it should.

Rendition, according to my chart, works with everything by virtue of
being D3D compliant.  It's not the best choice for everything, however;
it's significantly slower than a 3Dfx in MotoCross Madness, and doesn't
look nearly as good as 3Dfx in MTM2.
