So what? Monza is a fast track. I've done a 3.64 at Monaco (due to
online warping) :)

[ Lap Record ]
player = P. Grave ; Abbreviated name of record holder
time = 47.179996 ; Lap time of record holder
Could anyone explain how this is possible. He was driving an Eagle, and it
must have been flying :-)

If you do a 30 second lap of C***te (1.5 miles) your average speed
is 180mph.
30 div 60 div 60 is 30 secs in (0.0083r) hours
Then take the distance 1.500 and divide by that and ya get MPH
1.500 div 0.0083r = 180.
Therefore if ya did a 5 second lap of Tally, or at least the computer
thought ya did...
2.660 div (5 div 60 div 60) = 1915.2MPH =)))
Computers are dumb, but think about the problems that may arise if
some kind of code was put in to discard this... Probably better to
leave it and say "well that's technology for ya...."
I have seen stupid laps like this in serial N1, where the car somehow
pops through the wall and then back again. N1 registered a whole lap
when only about 10 metres had been travelled. Hence calculating a sub
5 second flyer. ;))

So the big question is (which I didn't see anyone respond to), do
multi-player times effect the Global-Hype system for the AI?
