Monza Lap Times

OK, the best I've managed is a 1:21.968. I am almost finished tinkering
with the level 2 susp. setup so I think I can get down to a 1:21.600. I
am only using auto trans as an aid. I am driving the Sauber which is the
same as the Williams, Simtek etc. I'm running a p133, 32MB, 2MBvram etc.
My wing setup is 12/2. My QUESTION is: How the Hell are people running
1:19s? I'm a gp1 veteran and one *** of a driver so it's not me. I'm
using a TM gp1 wheel btw. What's all this business about real time etc? I
played at svga full and at vga none and there is NO difference. There is
also NO difference in various car's performances. So how do people run
1:19s? Are they running the chicanes? I haven't tried more downforce as a
qualifying setup but I don't think it'll do much if anything.

Can anyone shed some light on this?
thanks,

Lower your rear wing to 1, first of all.  You need this for all the straights.

svga full and vga none and NO difference in frame rate ???
You have got a pretty unique computer. On my p120 svga full with mirrors
etc. the game is in slow motion. That could explain the 1.19s. Boring
game at 8-10 fps.

Dampers, ride height & springs make a big difference as well.  Email
if you want to swap setups.  You can also try getting right on the
curb at Vialone, to the extent that the nose of the car is centered on
the curb.  If you do it right, it will save a bit but it's difficult
to get it just right.
