Me and a buddy are trying to play RT over IP. Seems that due to NAT,
we cannot see the other's races. Anyone know what ports to open so we
can compete online?

I've tried all the bugbear forms asking the simple question of "what ports
does RT use?" and never got a response.

Well except for the fact that F1 Relay is offline(lightning strike is the
scuttlebutt) I'd say go there, THEY should have an idea since they run RT
online. good luck...hopefully Relay will be back up soon.

Try the Vision port mapper from here:
http://www.foundstone.com/knowledge/forensics.html

It should tell you what ports are open on the host machine and that'll
tell you what ports to map on your firewall.

From the website, it looks to me like that program runs only on NT, but I
could be wrong.

I know it runs under 2k - I'm assuming XP as well. Haven't checked
close enough for 9x compat. I use it for something entirely different
at work.
