MOMO Force Quirk

My new Logi MOMO Force Wheel's default position always seems to be about
10 degrees to the left of straight.  I have used the MOMOTweak utility
to straighten it out, but I find that the wheel reverts back to the
default position after a few laps.  For example, at GPL's Mexico City
circuit, with all its twists and turns, the forces on the wheel
apparently end up moving it back to the default position. After a lap or
two, the wheel points 10-15 degrees to the left again as I'm going down
the long straight.   This is without hitting any obstructions.  If I hit
the outside wall or one of the concrete tires, the effect is even worse,
even though I have the sim (during Training runs) set to No Damage.

Is this normal behavior for this wheel?  Or is it something that will
work itself out after it's broken in more? (It's only about 2 -3 weeks
old...)  If it matters any, I have MOMOTweak set to a value of +8.
Should I try a higher value?  Even one that's off the visible scale?

Thanks for any help with this.

Sorry, I did not see you had MOMOTweak. I it set off the scale to fix
the wheel. Hope Logitech releases some new drivers to fix this problem.

Dan,

Out of curiosity, what value do you set yours at?

Make sure your wheel is correctly set up and calibrated in the windows
control panel before you start the game.

If the wheel centers correctly in windows before and after you play
the game, then there is no problem on the wheel side.

If inside the game the wheel becomes non-centered then it means the
game tells it to do that. Maybe you are driving on a banked surface or
maybe the game has a damage model and after hitting a few walls the
car just doesn't go straight anymore, impacting the wheel (just like a
real car would).

You should have to run MomoTweak only once after calibrating the wheel
in control panel and for each USB port that the wheel is plugged into.

Find the value in MomoTweak for which the wheel centers correctly
under windows, and you should never have to change that value again
because it corresponds to your paticular wheel.

Hope this help :)
