Note that in F1 2002, the slider for FF strenght can be set to both negative
and positive values. MOMO owners must use the negative side of the scale.

Otherwise:

1) put overall strenght to 100% under *** Options and make sure you have
"combined axis" unchecked (split axis mode).

2) download DXTweak get rid of any deadzone there as well as in the game.

3) set all your axis to maximum "range".

4) adjust FF strenght to taste and enjoy.

Depends what game you play.  If you're playing any Papyrus game, then
remember to set the damping to 0% in Wingman Profiler.

In Grand Prix Legends, I tweaked the core.ini a lot, but now I just leave it
on the default feedback settings, but changed the steering torque from 225
to 190 to make it feel more meaty.

In Grand Prix 4 I still leave the damping in WP on 0%, because the effects
feel cleaner.

I don't know about any other games.  Is this your first FF wheel?

What games do you play/plan to play with it?

The Force Feedback in Grand Prix Legends is just unbelievable for a mere
computer game.  The cues you pick up as a 'real' driver are mirrored well.
You can feel the inertia as the forces on the car and the road pull the
wheel this way and that, when you rise over a crest, the steering goes
lighter as the tires leave the ground slightly.  When you enter a corner,
the steering weights up as the tyres dig in, but when you start to push too
hard, or start to brake, the wheel lightens a little as you lose grip.
Also, catching a slide is more natural because you need to turn the wheels
to they are pointing in the direction the car is going.  With a Force
Feedback wheel, you simply let the wheel go to the point of least
resistance, because this is when the wheels are traveling in the same
direction as the car is sliding.
Its excellent.

GP4 is just 'canned effects', really, but you still feel the wheel go light
when you lock the brakes going into corners, etc.

There are many posts about the Momo setups in F1 2002 in the High Gear
