Does that count for the Value version of SB LIve too?

Basically I'm hearing that I should get 4 speakers, but I haven't really
hear any suggestions on whether or not it would be worth it to get a new
sound card? I'm using a sound blaster awe64 isa right now and altec lansing
500's.
Should I just get 2 new speakers and connect them to the other sound channel
of the altec 500's?
Perhaps the surround channel?
And then maybe get 1 more for center?

The benefits of a new sound card would be better performance in most
games/sims. For example in GPL you would get an immediate increase in fps as
much as 8 depending on your system ( I couldn't find that post) . With GPL the
live value or would give you a  surround option, GPL does not take advantage of
the the mx 300s 3d.  Other games/sims may take advantage of the mx 300s 3d
effects. Just like video cards, get the card that works best on the most
important thing you play.
Either card will be better in some way...
