F1 2000-pedals

I am using a MS Sidewinder wheel and pedals for F1 2000 (with patch)...I was
using a joystick before that and had great acceleration could actually pass on
occasion...since I switched to the wheel and pedals I can't keep up with
anybody!  Anybody have any ideas? I think I have the newest drivers-but will
check when I  get to work (and have the cable modem) later today...
