N3 Add On Track Network Failure

by JACKRA » Tue, 16 May 2000 04:00:00

I have a two computers networked with identical
copies of N3 installed with the Papy patch. We are
able to race multiplayer on all of the original tracks,
but not on any tracks which I have downloaded. The
downloaded tracks all work fine on each computer in
single player mode. Is this problem experianced by
online racers? Is there a fix?

Thanks

N3 Add On Track Network Failure

The add-on tracks will not show up in the multiplayer race list, but they
can be raced over the LAN.  You must click the "Addresses" buton at the
bottom of the race list screen and type in the TCP/IP or IPX address of the
host directly.  I hope this helps.

N3 Add On Track Network Failure

I've had the same problem.  I've also been using TCP/IP connections
because it is quicker than the regular server.  However, it didn't fix
the track problem...at least not for me.
