N3 Car Change on Network?

by Crai » Mon, 20 Sep 1999 04:00:00

Just picked up Nascar3 today. Down in Florida at babbages. I have already
been having a great time online!

My question is I have been seeing some of the drivers as Winston Cup drivers
anybody know how to do this? I looked at driver set up and added a new
driver to multi but still did not see the driver once I went back to login.

Thanks
Craig

Ok, this is simple, so just listen  :)

When you enter the Multiplayer screen, it asks you for your ID (name) and
car. You can pick one of 43 cars from the drop down menu....those are online
cars, and are completely fictional.

IF you want a Cup car or Grand National car, you must do this.

Don't select a online car, instead delete that name from the screen by
clicking on it, then hitting delete. Now type in this:

C99_7

That will give you my favorite driver, Michael Waltrip. I use him and
whomever is in #16 now (I recognize it as Ted Musgraves car) because that is
my lucky number.  :)

So replace the 7 with whatever number you want to drive, like 24 or 20. For
a grand national car, you have to use a different letter. I forget, but if
you look in the Driver Info screen, under New Driver, it gives you a drop
down of all available ones to choose from.

Hope it helps.
