        Althought they had the Indianapolis Speedway add-on, the
        owner told me that he had taken back so many copies of
        7-track add-on with installation bugs that he had stopped
        selling it.

        What's going on? I see lots of people raced Mid-Ohio in the
        net race this weekend.

        Dare I buy this add-on, or am I taking a big risk that it
        won't install?

        Is there a way to keep the software from overriding my graphic
        preferences (yes, I know, buy a faster machine.

Yes, go to the "Options/Realism/Graphics" and select "Manual Detail" this
will initially say "Automatic Detail", but by clicking on it, it toggles
to manual, then go down the list that appears and select the items that
you wish to have on, and those you wish to turn off.
