T1 and WIN95 - Old Question I need help with

by Bryan Anderso » Mon, 28 Jul 1997 04:00:00

I recently picked up a new system which now allows me to run some games
such as
Nascar2 and NFS(SE) under Win95.

However, I have the older model Thrustmaster T1.  I would like to use
this wheel but it won't calibrate or respond properly.  I always used
the wheel under DOS mode with no problems.

I know for the first edition of the T2, you would need an adapter that
would allow all mapping of functions to go to one joystick.  Is the same
thing required for the T1 or am I out of luck?

Sorry to bother but I don't seem to be getting a response from
Thrustmaster on this issue and I really don't feel like going out and
buying a T2 (the pedals are worse in my opinion) when I could still play
the game in DOS mode.  However, I feel like my time is running out with
the games going to a Win95 mode only in the future.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

T1 and WIN95 - Old Question I need help with

The new DirectX 5.0 (from TUCOWS) supports the T1 and T2 wheels with and
without the adapter installed. As always back up your system files
before installing!

TM also has various web pages and Pro Panel utility which explain how to
set up their wheels on their web site.

Hope this helps?
