NASCAR 2/T1 Win95 question!!

I just got a new computer a Pentinum 200mhz.  I just had my T1 controler in
for parts put on and it works fine now.  I looked over your tech doc about
problems with the control but couldn't get it to work.  When I go to
set-up/calibrate the wheel/pedal, in the control panel under joystick,  it
says above the current joystick your joystick is not connected
properly(which it is) so the computer must not be finding it.  So I make
the current joystick: joystick 2 and it doesn't say it anymore.  So I
custom it to 2 axes, 2 buttons, is a race car controller and hit ok.  Then
I go to calibrate and does what it says.  And when it says to move the
joystick/pedal to it's full motion which I do 2-3 times and + in the box
just sits there and doesn't move(Which it might not suppose to do).  Then I
go to test and the + in the box is moving up and down when it's all
centered.  The I turn left and it goes down to the bottom.  Then I move it
right and it goes up.  Then I push the gas petal down and it moves  to the
left.  Then I press the brake down and it moves right.  Then I hit apply
then ok.
I go into NASCAR 2 and click options/controls and go to calibrate joystick
one and nothing happens when I move it.  Then I do the same for Joystick 2
and nothing happens.  But then in NASCAR 2 the fire buttons and shifter act
as the return so when your in something you hit the fire button and it goes
to the next thing.  So the wheel works but it looks like NASCAR 2 doesn't
pick it up.
When I go back into the control/joystick area the joystick 1 always comes
up!

Please let me know as soon as possible what's wrong.  I haven't raced
nascar 2 yet because the petal being broke and nascar not picking it up!

Please respond!
