Nr99 and drop in framerates

Hi Everrybody,

I am using Nascar 1999 in a Toshiba Satellite 4005CDS (PII-233 with 64Mb).
When I boot DOS and run the game, most of the times after 10~20 laps, the
framerate drops a lot. If I just same the game, exit it, and start again (no
boot), it works fine for the rest of the time. Another info, this does not
happen when I am on a multiplayers race (on a LAN).

I have my power managment disabled.

Any ideas willl be apreciate.
