Old racing game of the week : Autoduel

I've revamped my website in what I think is my final version of it.  I'm
incredibly happy with it.  I have on my local HD a list of over 200 racing
games from the 1980's.  I want to share them, so I will rotate them each
week with two new games.

For the first week I have on the site a true gem, AUTODUEL.  It's an
great mix of both RPG and racing.  It's very ***ive.  Check out my
site at http://www.racesimcentral.net/, you'll find the simracing section with the
game of the week.  Also there is moslo.zip, an easy way to slow down your
computer so you can play DOS games.  Don't be scared by my site ;)

<snip>
The no doubt stylish font on your website is unreadable on my PC, it just
comes out as square blocks that are just recognisable as text. I had to copy
and paste it to a text file to read it. Are you using a font that I need to
download?

Something's very odd with the font.  Changing the text size from medium to

(Done with View, Text Size menu options).

I also have the foinr problem. Had to bump the font size in IE to the

Yup, the font on your website (maybe it's "Geneva") is not a standard font
and the substitute font selected by IE is unreadable for most of us.

Well I'm not going to change my setting to cure Frankies problem - so until
he fix the site - I'm out.

Tip 'o the day... (discovered while pressing the wrong buttons, of
course!)

If you have a mouse wheel, hold down CTRL and wheel forward/backward when
your cursor is in the window you want to mess with. Changes the size of
the text, on the fly.

This is for IE, I'd guess, only one I use.

No, it's just "smallfont", a normal font that should be on everybody's PC.
I'll check out an alternative soon, meanwhile here's the direct download for
those who want to enjoy Autoduel :)

And here's the description of it :

GAME OF THE WEEK FOR JUNE 1ST - AUTODUEL (1989)

This week's game of the week is a unique racing RPG based on Steve Jackson
Games board game "Car Wars." You are an average joe starting off in New
York, and the object is to maximize money and maximize prestige, while doing
story-based missions. Side quests are also available for pay, as well as
being able to compete in the arena for more money and prestige. Notice that
credited to this game is the infamous LORD British himself, Richard
Garriott.

Some of the most interesting discoveries weren't followed by "Eureka!"
They were preceded by "That's funny..."
