hi all

i have had a computer crash and fixed it. all i have is the track pack and
my setups.
heres what i need.

ver. 1.21
96 cars
super truck cars

First, you said you needed FOUR items. I only count three above...
Second, it sounds like you PIRATED NCR in the first place. Otherwise, you'd
HAVE version 1.21, wouldn't you?

No! I HAVE NOT PIRATED NCR. I bought it last year and you have to down
laod the ver 1.21. wich i got of The Pits. And i got the Supper trucks and
the 96 cars last night off the iwcccars project home page. By the way if
you by nascar you get ver. 1.1!
And about the 4 items. I forgot About the concreat patch for Dover!

Well, I don't think you should jump on him so quickly. Ver.1.21 is an update
patch that mainly fixes AI problems. You can download it at lots of sites for
free. It is not what you buy in the box.

Second, I also keep my setups backed up on disk too.

So what is the problem. His ver. 1.21 probably got wiped out when his computer
crashed.

I am perplexed.

1) If you bought NASCAR Racing, why not just reinstall it from your
original disks/cd-rom?

2) If you got the rest of the things you requested from the 'net in the
first place, why not just download them again?

I am interested if there is anyone who plays Indy2 frequently - on keyboard.

If so, I am interested in his times,just to see how fast it could be done
on keyboard.

For example on this tracks:

Australia
Vancouver
Elkhart Lake
Laguna Seca

OK, you've opened another can of worms here. I was under the impression that 1.21 only fixed
a problem with modem play. If 1.21 changes the AI, I need to know because as a director of a
racing series I've required version 1.2 or above. Several of my drivers use 1.21 but I myself
do not. Could an authoritative voice confirm what 1.21 fixes.

I have NASCAR Racing, I bought everything I have for it and I didn't get
version 1.21. When I bought NASCAR Racing it didn't even have the track
packs yet. I had to personally buy the Track Pack. All the patches they
don't sell in the computer store. So how can you get version 1.21?

The only difference between 1.2 and 1.21 is modem play (1.21 fixes some
modem bugs).

How do you figure? When I bought NCR 1,5 years ago I got v1.0 !!!
Pretty soon Papy released v1.1 patch to fix the pole bug, and a few
months after that they came up with v1.2 patch.

V1.21 is only a modem fix.

Interestingly enough, the newest version of Nascar (1.21) is most
prevalent in Soundblaster CDROM upgrades. I got v1.21 on CD with
a SB16/4xCD-ROM package.
All the stand-alone Nascar packages I've seen (which aren't many, I'll
admit) seem to still be the older versions.

I was quite surprised to find that the one I got in the "10 CD titles
included" thing was the newest version. ...oh well. I'm hooked
anyway. Because of that disc, I've upgraded to 133mhz, added RAM,
bought pedals, and picked up IndyCar II.

The best way still seems to be downloading the patch. :-)

Ok... UNLIKE other people said that have responded... v1.21 is a patch that
you find on the internet. v1.2 is what you buy with the track pack.

Anyway v1.21 can be found at:

Sorry you are right I am wrong :-) I was talking 1.1 but was typing 1.21. I
didn't get 1.21 because I don't play over the modem anyway. I'll wait till I get
a cd-rom player and buy Nascar 2.
