And... does it do A3D 2.0 ??? So N3 will be supported ?
I'm also in the market to upgrade my old ISA based Soundblaster AWE32 (got
this baby back in late 1995!)
I've got a LWFF, so a fast gameport isn't as important as the ability to
support both my older games and the new games that have it the market, and
that will be coming in the future!

IT does Soundblaster Pro emulation in DOS mode if you choose to
install the driver for it.
Yes, it's based on the Aureal Vortex2 chipset.
I don't think you'd be disappointed with either card. I chose the
MX300 for the better gameport, but I do thinkthe SBLive had a little
better overall sound quality.
