    I have a Creative Sound Blaster AWE with 8 meg ram.  While racing on
VROC I can hear my own car and my own tire squeal. However, when there
is someone near by, There engine sound is there only intermittently if
at all.

    I can allocate X amount of ram for my replays through the core.ini.
Is there any kind of a ini file I can edit to utilize the 8 meg of ram
on the card for the sound?  I'm *assuming* that because of the problem
I'm having with the sound that I'm not using the full 8 meg ram on the
card.

Go to your options, then to the sound tab and change the number of sounds to
something higher than the min, maybe 8 or 10 or so.
