THE AUSTRALIAN SUPER7 LEAGUE
"Adding a new dimension to Grand Prix Legends"

============ Press Release ===================
AUSTRALIAN SUPER7 LEAGUE
Round 14 - Kyalami (Int Long) in Honda's

Round 14
-------------
"SEBESFI TAKES MAIDEN WIN!!"

Formula 2
Qualifying was very fast with drivers in the 21's.  Les Marton broke from
his "consistency mantle" to grab as excellent pole position from John
Baldwin.  Roger Graham and Steve Skane rounded out the 2 front rows.

Qualifying is one thing, racing is very different and this was no exception.
With the top three qualifyers registering DNF's, it realy goes to show how
qualifying well isn't really that important.

Nick Sebesfi managed to take the win from Troy Rosenberg (continuing his
good run, how long can it last??  :-)  and Greg Colgan rounded out the
podium places.  Well done Nick!!!

"STEWART - 5 IN ROW!!"

Formula 1
Qualifying was quite close and fast with sub 1:21 laps.  James Pickard took
pole position with a quick lap of 1:20.23 edging out Greg Stewart and Steve
Ryan respectively.  Championship contenter Vail Riches was edged out by Dave
Rosario for the 4th spot and giving the championship hopeful some real work
to do in the race.

The race a repeat of  the previous rounds with Greg Stewart coming home a
comfortable 1st place and strenthning his grip on the AS7L Championship.

The race for 2nd place was the closest in AS7L history and indeed Australian
Sim online Sim Racing history with MIck Taylor beating home Vail Riches by
just 0.01 seconds!!   Amazing!!!

============ End Press Release ===================

The Super7's now move on to the final rounds of the championship.  Final
round: Nurburgring.

I hope you all have a fun car to take to the mother of all circuits.  We may
be experimenting with new pitstalls for the Nurburg race (starting on the
back straight, or similar) to ease the need for a long warm-up lap.  More on
this to come shortly so watch out for that.
