Solitude impressions

At the GPL LAN party in Veenendaal (Holland) Martijn from the GPLEA
showed us the track he's been working on, Solitude.
Ladies and Gentleman, I won't be surprised if we only see Solitude on
VROC after it's released :)
It really is a fantastic track. It's fast, long (laptimes around 3:30
I believe Martijn?), it has got some nice straights for some good
drafting opportunities and graphically it's gorgeous (is gorgeous the
correct spelling Bruce? Not sure here). Most importantly it's got a
very nice rythm, Solitude has the fast racing of Spa, and I felt the
rythm of the track to be something like that from Mosport.

To make it all complete I could test Solitude in a Hyperstim. I've
read about these things, saw pictures of them, but I didn't expect
them to be as good as they are. They sit quite comfortable, the chair
is a little bit hard, but the wheel and especially the pedals are
fantastic, very sensitive. Only a bit too pricey for me :)

Anyway, expect a lot of excellent stuff from the new Noonan!
Martijn expects it to be ready in a couple of weeks, he has to do
finals for his study in a couple of weeks, hopefully it will be ready
before that.

Looking forward to it being released.

Yes, "gorgeous" was fine, Andre, but "rythm" is really "rhythm". :-)

You're really surprised why some people never show up here?
Read the entire thread, what an incredible waste of bandwidth and time.
Find something useful to do with your time instead

Unfortunately, no.
I applied for the position but was rejected in favour of Paul Hogan.
