Analogue Braking-Papyrus ICR & TM Formula T1

Hi All

I'm currently using a CH Flightstick with an analogue throttle and
non-linear steering config, and keyboard switching for braking in ICR.

I use TM gear  (ACM, RCS, WCS2, PFCS) for flight sims ie:Falcon,
Tornado, etc and find it excellent in that role.

For those of you that own and use the TM F T1 out there, I'd value
your "user"opinion. I have read an excellent review or FAQ on the
item, but I'd just like to see what you hard core fans of ICR think,
before I buy.

As someone else mentioned, following other traffic closely in ICR with
only switched braking available (brakes on or off situation) is unduly
difficult.

Does having the analogue input from the TM pedals allow user input and
control of braking any more real finesse??

Similarly, being able to use linear steering with the wheel should
allow much finer cornering control. Has this been the experience of
those of you using this equipment??

Thanks for listening. I'm most interested in your opinions.

Regards

Keiron

YES, actually have analog gas & braking helps in corning also.  It
allows for trail-braking.  In NASCAR I find it extremely helpful.  It's
hard to delicately throw around a 3,000 lb piece of metal.  I need all
the help I can get.  For example, just lifting ever so slightly on the
gas I can thread my way through the dog-leg at Talladega.

Is this review available anywhere on the Internet by any chance? I'm
very interested in a T1 wheel!

I purchased the PROWHEEL steering wheel and brake set and was EXTREMELY
pleased with the performance. It easily outperforms the T1. Cost is around
$250
for all but is well worth it. Contact Bob at 503-629-0345.

Thanks for the tip, but I live in England unfortunately! In what ways
is it better than the T1?

Stuart.
