Hey, something was wrong. Wartburg has an 1000 cc 50 hp engine on 5000 rpm.
At 3000 rpm that should feel like 600 cc. BTW it was made at pre-war BMW
factory, sporty thing that car. Oh yes, separate body&chassis..

It's easy to poke fun of the Trabant, and it was a ridiculous car in
the late 80s and early 90s, but it was quite a good car in 1958, when
it was developed.
