I picked up this wheel cheap yesterday and so far, it seems to be a
great wheel, however...

When I restarted the computer after installing the newest drivers, the
wheel worked fine.  After a while though, Windows reported that a
Unrecognized USB device is plugged in.  I unplug it and replug it.
Same deal.  I reboot the system and the wheel is back.

Does anybody have a solution to this?

I'm using Windows XP on a AMD Athlon 1.4ghz, A7M266 Motherboard.  I've
also tried the gameport, but that doesn't seem to work at all.

Madcatz seems to have discontinued support for all their PC equipment.
