momo settings

Guys,
I'm a nascar nut, as you know, and I just received the new Momo to go with
it, replacing my old Sidewinder gameport. I've only had the momo a couple of
weeks, but I can't help noticing that I can't 'read' it as well - with the
SW, if I was close to losing the back end, the wheel would tell me and I'd
adjust. With the momo, it seems to tell me a fraction later, and by then the
tail's come around too much to save...
Anyone got any ideas what I could do about it?

TIA!

Perhaps adjusting (increasing) the delay setting would help... there
is always some delay in the effects, and this setting helps to
counteract this delay by predicting the effects.
