Your lockup is different than mine.  Mine is an actual NR2002 crash, yours
appears to be a video lockup in the game.

Has anything else changed since installing the patch?  For example, it has
been getting hotter here and I was having lockups (pre-patch) that came and
went with the heat.  I put a fan on my Ti 4400 and have had no lockups (and
the temps have been higher than when the lockups first occurred.)

Just a thought.

Yes, try taking the cover off your machine if you haven't already.  I
started having video lockups just after I installed the previous patch.  It
took me a while to figure out but I now have to race with the side cover off
my case to keep the temps down.  A fan the vid card is going to be the next
step.

I always have my PC and vid card overclocked. Anytime I suffer a freeze up
or crash I know something is running too hot. I do not run my cover on my
case and I also have a large fan bolted to the open case so I can turn it on
if the room temperature rises. I also will lower my oc on my vid card and pc
if it gets really hot. Just because you do not overclock does not mean it is
not the problem. Either remove the case cover or get a better fan for the
vid or cpu. Also, blowing out all the dust in you computer or taking off the
cpu and replacing the heat sink compound with new or better quality will
never hurt.

Not at all.  Not oh my end.

I've fresh installed Windows 3 times to start from scratch.

Everything is fine unless I install the patch, the OpenGL is out the window.

There are new nVidia WHQL drivers that just came out.  I'm going to give
them a try.

My system is certainly not running hot.  It never has.
