Hello race fans.  Why is it that Nascar CD will autmatically load the 8 bit stereo driver
for my SBMCD16?? I have a 486dx2-66 with 8mb ram and a (i am almost embarrassed to mention it)
Trident VLB video card.

Because the sound is ONLY 8 bit sound.  It will run faster, better, etc.
on most machines if you use the 8 bit driver.

Hey!

Good question... You and I have the EXACT same setup.

I am using a T1 wheel..

I find though, that I can run with around 18-19 FPS
with 18 competitors and grass and track texture off
and get pretty good "feel" of the car ....anyone else with
this setup have any setup tips?
