i cant seem to get carmageddon to work in w95 with the 3dfx version and
the *** patch at the same time - any ideas?

Forget it, just run it under DOS.  The Win'95 version is ultra unstable to
begin with and the folks at Stainless have made a point that the 3dfx patch is
to be used only under a DOS reboot.

ok!! got it working under dos but when i spply the *** patch that came
with the splat pack it wont run the 3dfx mode!! should i apply the ***
patch before applying the 3dfx patch!!

This is total crap, the part about it actually 'working' I mean.
Everytime I try to run it with either of the two 3dfx patches that came out
for it, the first one then the 'final' patch, the damn thing keeps asking
to
'insert the cd' when the cd is in the drive already.
Yes, I tried taking the cd out, then putting it back in the drawer, but
nothing happens.
It just sits there.
Any help or answers for this would be appreciated, it's a great, fun game
otherwise.
