Hi.
My buddy has a huge problem.
He bought a helthy PC to be able to drive GP4. Its a Dell with 2.4 P4 and
Geforce 4 ti 4600 and force feedback. It hase some 11000 marks on 3dmarks
2001. GP4 works perfectly fine. GPL installes and runs but gives some 26-28
in frame rate:-(
Rather useless!
Hi installed the processor speed patch and GPL works perfect.
No to the strange thing.
GP4 wound come up. The speed patch disables it!
He had to uninstall GPL and GP4 and reinstall it agian.
Anyone nows what the patch does???
His on XP with every partches from usoft.

The speed patch only changes a register within the gpl code.  It doesn't
make changes to the OS.  Most likely the problem with gp4 was a coincidence
to installing the speed patch.
Other items like directx updates or driver changes may have contributed to
his problem, but that is just speculation on my part.
re-installing did fix the problem though, correct?

Indeed.  Anyway, if it ever was to be related, it would do TWO good things
to your computer instead of one ;-)
