setup. Any ideas? I have a decent setup that will last the race.

I'll be willing to run with whatever...
Whatever is going to happen needs to happen soon :)

I'm not so sure the FAST setup is all that bad...
It tops out at about 115 on that long straight, with about 500 revs left.
When I think of the incredible drafts we are going to find ourselves in
here, you can't really change the gearing any shorter. I tried it one notch
and was on the light. With the draft, we'll be blowing engines.
This much I know. This track has a Pucker-Factor of 10, that's for sure :)
One mistake here, and you are definitely done for the day.

And you're right. The only skill needed is to not touch anything. If you
do, you're gone.
Hopefully that's out of my system after last week :)

Is there a replay analyzer that I can use to view our laps side by side?
It's too late though to use your setup for the RASCAR race Sat., but glad
you made it available. People have been practicing with JS's setup (also
very good, 306.3 is my best so far) this week, and the main difference (to
me at least) between the two seems to be the gearing.

Regarding the Replay Analyzer, Martin Granberg's N2003RA allows you to
compare two or more laps in realtime (the cars being represented by
lines drawn on the track in realtime).
It also has a 'merge' feature, but I've never tried that and don't know
whether it simply appends the one to the other so you get one file, or
whether it actually overlays the two cars.

I didn't think of this at first, but it could very well be the pedals
I'm using. These E3000 pedals have improved my braking and accelerating
considerably, I'm a lot cleaner and smoother now thanks to them.
Maybe that's the reason why you lose time under braking. Just guessing
here of course.
