NR2002 adding sound to replay's

I took an interest the other day in creating a highlight clip of some races
using the replay theater.  There are instructions both in the manual, and in
the readme on how to insert .wav or .ogg sound files to the replays.  When I
select the sound file and hit ok to insert it, I get an error message
reading "Not enough room in the resource table.  Table to small?".  I get
this same error regardless of whether I try to add a .wav, or a .ogg.  I
don't believe the files are to large to add, as I tried an 11k file and
still got the error.

Has anyone experienced this error before, or been able to successfully add
sound to a replay film?

The wav files have to be 22khz.  Check to make sure they are the correct format.

Just a guess, but could this be memory or replay buffer related?

Thanks Biz, I'll double check on that.  Do I take it that you've
successfully added sound then?

No, I don't bother with most of that replay ***except for analyzing my line and improving my lap
times/consistency, but I've read posts from people that have, and I read the readme file...

You need make sure your .wav is 22,050hz, 16bit, I've used mono, don't know
if stereo works or not.

It seems that some people have had problems with .wavs produced from certain
programs.  I use winamp.  Use the diskwriter output plugin, configure it to
the above specs, and run your sound file through winamp.

You should be able to import that .wav.   Using the link in the NR2002
readme, I got a program called oggdrop to convert the .wav to .ogg
(compresses sound file, decreases size).

Just to see if it worked, I spent the 5 minutes and brought in a 22khz 16-bit stero wav file, it
worked flawlessly.  So stereo works as well as the mono you used.

Cool, thanks,  I always wondered about that...I never tried it because it
takes up more space, but now the next time I give instructions I can be sure
:)
