SCGT Split axis - Again

SCGT Split axis - Again

by Mark » Fri, 25 Jun 1999 04:00:00

Before you say search on Deja, I just did and can't find anything that works.

Bought SCGT about 3 hours ago.  I've applied the latest patch - 1551, and the
advanced options.  Split axis don't work.  I remember trying the demo 'fix'
fro split axis but that never worked.  I'm using a TM F1 (Nascar Pro in US?)
and and sick of having to switch when I go between that and GPL.  As many
suggestions as you can provide would be a great help.

TIA

Well,

SCGT does NOT recognize split axis with an ECCI, and until it does, these
people who put put out the software are full of it, if they say it does.

They should take lessons from Papy and get it right and get multiplayer
right. Everyone else has a better muliplayer than these guys.

When you start up the SCGT, press your pedals on.
then SCGT will recognize your 3rd axis.
I don't know when is the detection point,
but I pressed both pedals on from click the start button to initial menu,
then SCGT recognized my 3rd axis.
It's some annoying method, but it works!
And also it doesn't need dual axis patch.

Is there anyone who know the better method?

SCGT Split axis - Again

Well, whaddaya know, it works!!  Actually, I must only press the brake pedal
- if I press both on startup my accellerator isn't recognised!!!

It may not be an ideal solution, but it's a hell of a lot better than groping
on the floor to flick a switch then setting it up in TM Pro Panel.  And then
forgetting to set it back when I head into GPL...

Cheers

Well Papyrus has it so right that I can't play N1999 multiplayer with my MSFF
wheel.   How about they take lessons from someone else?

I have an ECCI CDS 4000 and SCGT works AOK with split axis configuration. I
also have a PDPI game card if that matters. It has to be your setup. Sorry.
