Driver is using digital controls. On/off is all you gonna get.

The dead zone is a little large maybe, but it's not rediculous.
FWIW, I have a Logitech WM FF wheel.

: Finally! Someone else pipes up about this. I don't have problems,
: either. My throttle is NOT merely ON/OFF... I've explained it too
: many times already, but suffice it to say it's not a 'normal'
: throttle, but it's definitely not merely on/off.
You probably have your throttle/brake pedal set to split axis. When
you have the throttle all the way off the car reverses and when you
have it all the way down the car goes forward?

AFAIK driver does NOT support split axis (wouldn't work on my system).
Throttle is NOT merely ON/OFF...

The other night I was playing Driver, and trying to maintain a
constant speed (without c/control), and couldn't do it.
So, either something on my system changed, or the demo had a different
throttle model than the released version does. I'm sure I was able to
maintain a constant speed in Driver using the accellerator, but I
guess I was wrong (or something changed somewhere...).
