NASCAR For the Mac Question

Can anyone tell me how NASCAR for the MAC compares to NASCAR1-PC and
NASCAR2-PC with respect to car physics, track models, and driver AI?

I have seen only a little of NASCAR1-PC and NASCAR2-PC. It seems to me
that NASCAR for the Mac appears to be closer to NASCAR2-PC relative to car
appearance but I'm not sure about the car physics and track layout.
Certainly the spotter is missing. What other differences are there between
NASCAR for the MAC and NASCAR2-PC?

NASCAR-Mac is based on the NASCAR 1 codebase (for the most part). It
should be very close (the goal was identical, and we're probably very
close to that goal) to NASCAR 1 for PC.

I presume that you are speaking mainly concerning the physics model and
track layouts which are the most significant aspects for a simulation (I
do have trouble in the Taledaga trioval which I recall was an issue with
N1). The user interface for car set up, track selection, etc. look very
different from N1 and appear to be similar to N2. The car graphics appear
to me to have the smoother silhouette like N2 rather than the boxy
appearance that cars had in N1. Also, it appears to me that the car to
track dimension aspect is similar to N2. I recall that the cars in N1
seemed to be slightly larger than one expected verse lane and track width.

Am I correct?

Thanks for your help,

That is correct... I tend to think somewhat narrowly about the
simulation being characterized almost totally by the driving and
racing experience. The menus, UI, and non-racing stuff are more like
N2, as you stated (in the snipped part of your post).
