Nascar for Mac & mouse steering bug

Has anyone been able to get their Mac version of Nascar to steer with the
mouse? I have a Kensington 2 button, & when I set the check box for mouse
steering & close the dialog & reopen, the box is unchecked!!

I use Nascar with my apple mouse with sensitivity set to 'not very" and
have no problems.

I'm gonna order a T2.
