n4 help please

by COWBOYSF » Fri, 30 Jan 2004 04:14:55

well after buying a new computer months ago, i have finally loaded my last
purchased nascar game, n4....   installation went fine but i am having a few
start up problems, hoping there are still some out there using this game that
can help me.
1. in the player info screen, the mouse cursor is "stuttering"   have no idea
why???

2. with the cd in the cdrom, when i start the game it momentarily goes to the
main menu and then automatically jumps to the player info screen. once there,
it is impossible to get out of that screen other than to go to the
player/opponent roster.

i am sure there will be other problems but for now this is all i can detect
because its as far as i can go. hopefully someone can help me get started or
point me to a site that can offer answers to technical questions. thanks  don

Disable joystick control of menus?  That seems familiar...

Good luck trying to find a site that still has N4 forums.  You of
course could head over to Sierra as their N4 board is still around.
You might have equal luck going to Google and searching the usenet
archives of this newsgroup for references to N4.

good luck.  hth
