Is this possible?  I've got a Voodoo3 2000.  Just trying to get this
autochat program working (GPLOMe) and thought I'd try something new...

Anything is possible, I've been thinking of writing a Glide3x
GPL rasterizer (and maybe a DirectX one after that).  The
goal would be increased performance but a side benefit
would be the ability to run in a window.

Would be nice if Papyrus would release the specification
of what their internal rendering library looks for in a
rasterizer, but I don't think that is a requirement (more
like a small hurdle).

If you do that the GPL community will be very glad and if you can do the dx
thing Sierra should send you lots of $ as it will sell some more copies of
GPL! And there will be more great drivers to race against.
