GPL online race help?

When i go to race online through vroc1.2 or winroc native(WIN 98) it
connects me, starts to load the game and then kicks me out. I have recently

worked fine with my phone modem, but not my cable connection. The ip address
is correct, its having problems loading the game software. Any ideas???

p.s.  using latest version of GPL I think 1.2.0.1

you need to add/modify this line in your Core.ini

[ Communications ]
alternate_ip_addr_lookup = 1                    ; Find IP addresses another way
