Microsoft Hardware problems

Anyone had problems with their Microsoft hardware - joystick, wheel, etc.?
The accelerator spring on my MS FF wheel has snapped on one side so I
require a replacement spring. The pedal works, but is very soft and won't
last much longer. Anyone had experience with parts replacements or
warranties on their MS hardware? I don't suppose it could possibly be as
good a service as Thrustmaster!? :(  I guess I can only e-mail MS and see
how I go...
Any advice/help would be much appreciated - e-mail or here is fine. TIA.
