N2 does not have directx capability, so microsoft wheel will not
calibrate correctly.  works fine with Nascar 99 and Nascar 3.

Problems getting my Microsoft FF wheel to work with N2.

It won't configure in the game''s control settings.

I remember seeing a post (no idea where) about this a while ago, so
somebody somewhere MUST have experienced the same problem.

Help!

It does not work fine in N1999. Oh sure it may work in the
Windows version but if you want to play N1999 online you
need the DOS version, which is the same as N2.

Problems getting my Microsoft FF wheel to work with N2.

It won't configure in the game''s control settings.

I remember seeing a post (no idea where) about this a while ago, so
somebody somewhere MUST have experienced the same problem.

And I don't suppose there's any way to get around this, with a crack
or patch?

I'm having the same problem with my Microsoft Sidewinder Precision Pro
(USB). Now I have no controllers for N2! Doh!

I couldn't get it to work either.

I thought it was a stated fact, maybe even from papy, that MSFF won't work with
N2. The reason is that the wheel use digital input to the gameport, and N2 use
it's own joystickdriver that doesn't support this very well.

But why bother when N3 is out now, or at least soon in Europe :)

FYI DirectX is not a requirement. As the Logitech FF USB wheel
works fine in IndyCar Racing 2 (a DOS game). The problem is
N2's joystick routine which is a very well known issue.

Yes there is a patch. It is called Nascar 3 and works fine with the current
FF wheels.
