GP3 - 3D API?

Has anyone seen any mention of what 3D API's GP3 is going to support?
I'd assume D3D, but I'd be curious if OpenGL or Glide made it in as
well.

TIA,

Only D3D.

Direct3D will be the supported hardware at the beginning, as Geoff
Crammond seems to be someone who cares about large-scale
compatibility.

There's always a chance that they will patch in a Glide or OpenGL
version later on (Papyrus have added two rasterisers since the release
of Grand Prix Legends), but I wouldn't count on it.

Or too damn lazy to code anything but one way.  If what I hear is true
(added FF late in development along with TCP/IP support), I assume
Hasbro is driving these and not Crammond.  I really don't think
Crammond's approach is large-scale compatibility.  If that was the case
we wouldn't have any other way to drive in GPx other than keyboard <G>.

Thanks - I just wondered what was up.  If they started with D3D, it's
unlikely anything else is forthcoming, as that's the most widely
compatible.  I was curious since if they supported Glide, then they
probably started coding to Glide originally (unlikely, I know), which
generally means Glide's the best way to run the game.
Just looking for more info supporting my next video card purchase.

I'm trying to decide just how badly I want Voodoo5 FSAA - A GeForce2
with a Voodoo3 PCI is starting to look like a tempting setup,
especially with N4 on the way.

Actually, i've been following GP3 developements for quite a long time now,
and still no one has (as far as I know) officially answered the question of
what API will be supported/used, but we all know nevertheless than it will
be D3D.
