I cant stand reviews that basically say "You're sat on the grid at monaco -
you're driving a 800 bhp car, the engines screams in your ears" yadda yadda
yadda

Sounds like typical marketing ***from a publisher.

This mini 'review' doesnt actually say anything constructive about the game
whatsoever.   It's actual content can be reduced to about 2 lines.

"F1 2002's exceptional handling and driving model which really gives you the
impression of being in control of a throbbing F1 beast."

and it has telementry, and comprehensive setup options.

and the best bit

"we haven't even had time to tell you about the realistic weather, excellent
multiplayer and enhanced driver school modes."

Well - perhaps if you'd spent 90% of your review actually talking about the
title instead of waxing lyrical about the glories of driving formula one
cars - then you'd have time to tell us all about them in detail

I'm actually looking forward to F12k2 - but Jesus - whoever wrote that
review needs to stop daydreaming, and start being a reviewer.

Probably anyone using a 56k modem. I don't have time to waste downloading
game demos on a 56k modem.

Couldn't have said it better myself <G>  The "review" looks like something
on the back of a box.

TOP TIP: Leave the PC to do the download with the help of GetRight, or
some such utility, and go and do something else in the meantime.

Derek, I bought the mag just to get the F1 2002 demo off the disk ;)

Seems pretty good to me, somehow it just feels better than F1 2001 but I
can't explain why.

If you get it, remember to use the full speed physics hack
Half Rate="0" // 0 = super-high physics rate, 1 = normal
from the Player Name.PLR file in C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\F1 2002 WORK IN
PROGRESS DEMO\Save\Driver Name

Just leave it running overnight using Gozilla or something similar.

Seeing as he's posting from denmark, that sounds like an expansive
proposition.

The monopolies here in scandinavia arenn't done fleecing us just yet.
