More on Stealth II and ICR2...

Well, after calls to both Diamond and Sierra, it appears that the V2100-based
Stealth II card will *not* support the Rendition version of Indy Car II.
Neither tech-support group sounded like they knew *entirely* what they were
talking about (which I understand...it's a brand new product), so there is
still some hope that changing a few .exe around will get it up and running
(thanks Eric), but I'm not holding my breath.

So, Intense 3D and both games (ICR2 that runs great, and N2 that runs far
better than I ever ran it before) or Stealth II that runs N2 better than I3D,
but no ICR2 at all.

And, will CART from Papyrus support the V2100 chip?  Or the Vodoo chip?
Perhaps I should stick with the I3D and get a Monster3D card in addition.

I ran ICRII with my Stealth II last night - only from Win 95 and using
'Indysafe.bat'(no dma) - Indyfast/ dma doesn't work. I get 30-40fps
anyway (alt X mode), should be even faster when they get dma mode
working. Nascar2 dma (renddma) works just fine though, and is noticeably
faster than V1000 N2.

AFAIK, CART by Papyrus is no different that the current rev of ICR2 with
the Rendition tracks.
