find the exact make and model number of your monitor, go to the
manufacturers website , or do a lengthy web search, and get the
correct 'monitor.inf' file for your montior, this shohuld bring back
the other resolutions with reference drivers.
really does work BTW, i had thought for ages that 'plug and play
monitor' should work - and that there was somthing wrong with my
system (using creative blaster TNT), when i eventually got round to
finding a daytek monitor.inf all my problems melted away... (well at
least i got the right resolutions available...)
remember it might not be under drivers on the web page because
strictly its not a driver!
