f1 2000 : Voodoo Banshee (Monster Fusion) problems

by DjFI » Mon, 20 Mar 2000 04:00:00

Is anyone else having these problems or is it just me?  I'd really like
to get the hardware version working and tested cause the software mode
is just killing me.  Hopefuly it's just a cracking flaw, or once I
purchace the game ISI\EA is gonna be hearing from me ASAP about this.
Cause I wan't\need 3d.

Ive now tried changing the number in the cfg, didn't help.  Tried
installing 3dfx drivers and the latest diamond drivers, neither
helped...actualy.. they helped but the drivers wouldn't let me out of
640x480 which for me and a 17" monitor is totaly unacceptiable.  Any
help?

Thanks for any help,

I have that same card and I had previously used GLSetup and installed a
driver named 3DFX Voodoo Banshee, and everything is fine.  I had tried
installing the latest Diamond drivers but if I hovered over a button too
long, or had too many cars on the track I was kicked to the desktop.
