Atlanta Pit Road bug??

by Jeffrey S. J » Fri, 15 Sep 1995 04:00:00

Anyone experience any problems at Atlanta with the Pit Road speed?
Each time I pit, I go down the road at 55MPH, but I later get black
flagged for exceeding the speed limit.  I know I didn't exceed it cuz I
flipped on auto-brake so it would keep me under 55.  Later, I did it
manually and kept it at 50, and it was fine, no black flag.  Is this
a bug or am I just special?  :)
Thanks.

I noticed that too, I fixed it by not keeping my foot on the gas
as I got to the end of the Pit lane.  In other words, going 55 is ok
until you get to the very end of pit lane, let up just slightly and then
you can acelerate once past the wall.  I think the autobrake lets off
just a fraction too soon so you end up maybe going 56 or 57 as you cross
the line.  Good Luck
